Each year, in celebration of the Marine Corps Birthday, we assemble and ship 1200 birthday-themed care packages for deployed Marines. We will packing these "Birthday Boxes" on our October 29th packing day at the Marine Parents corporate office in Columbia, MO.

The Marine Corps Birthday is an important event that all Marines celebrate as their own "second" birthday. Let's help our deployed Marine celebrate even though they are half a world away. We need YOUR help collecting special items to include in these Birthday Boxes.

First of all, we need a "Happy Birthday" card for every box that we ship. That's 1,200 cards we need from you, our Marine Corps families. We must receive them in our office by October 22nd, a week before the pack day. Send them to:

The cards should be addressed "Dear Marine" and include a personal, handwritten sentiment. If you will be sending several cards, you may put them in one large envelope to mail to us. We screen the cards before they are sent, so please do not seal the individual envelopes.

We have discounted Marine Corps Birthday cards available for purchase from our EGA Store, where all proceeds go back to fund our outreach programs. They feature the Marine Corps mascot on the front, and the inside is blank so you can write your own personal message!

Secondly, we need items to include in the birthday boxes! We are asking for Hormel Turkey Dinners for Thanksgiving and olive drab T-shirts, which the Marines always need. You can donate these items through our online store.
